Sacred Water from Four Dhams to Reach PM Modis Birthplace, Bike Rally Kicks Off in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, September 13 (Daily Kiran) : A significant bike rally commenced on Sunday under the BJP’s “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,” transporting sacred water from four major religious sites in Gujarat. Approximately 500 party workers set off on 250 motorcycles towards Vadnagar, the birthplace of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The rallies began at Somnath, Unai Mata Temple, Shamlaji, and Pavagadh, with plans to converge in Vadnagar on September 16. According to a party spokesperson, this initiative precedes a subsequent bike rally from Vadnagar to Varanasi.

Each group will carry sacred water to Vadnagar. Part of this water will be used for the abhishek (ritual bathing) of Haatkeshwar Mahadev, while the remainder will be mixed into the Sharmishtha Lake. Following this, 500 workers will transport the lake’s holy water to Varanasi for the abhishek of Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev.

The BJP stated that this campaign marks 25 years of public service by PM Modi, including 13 years as Chief Minister of Gujarat and 12 years as Prime Minister.

During the journey, participants will engage with communities in villages and towns along the route.
