309 Drones, 8 Missiles Launched

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched a total of 309 Shahed drones and eight Iskander-K cruise missiles. Ukrainian air defence systems successfully shot down 288 drones and three missiles. However, 21 drones and five missiles managed to reach their targets, causing significant destruction. Zelensky Calls for Stronger Western Support

Russia Claims Control of Key City, Ukraine Denies

Meanwhile, Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed to have taken full control of the strategically important city of Chasiv Yar in Ukraine’s Donetsk region.

However, Ukrainian military spokesperson Viktor Trehubov dismissed the claim as false and propaganda-driven. He stated, “There has been no change in the current situation.”

According to the Ukrainian military, seven clashes took place in Chasiv Yar over the past 24 hours, and many areas there remain in the “grey zone”—meaning they are not under the full control of either Ukraine or Russia.
