New Delhi, 17 August (Kiran News). If you are among those who admire the classic look and modern technology of Royal Enfield, there is good news for you! The company has teased its first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6, in India and it is expected to be launched soon. This bike is not only suitable for urban travel but will also be available in a scrambler version.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Unveiled
Royal Enfield first introduced the Flying Flea C6 at the EICMA show. Since then, the company has displayed it in many cities across India. Now, pictures of its testing in the Northern region have surfaced, indicating that it may arrive in the market by the festive season.
Design Inspired by the 1940s
The Flying Flea C6 offers features such as full LED lighting, split-style seating, and black alloy wheels. Although its complete specifications are yet to be revealed, it is certain to be perfect for everyday city riding. The design draws inspiration from the 1940s Flying Flea bike, showcasing vintage elements like forged aluminium girder-type front forks and an articulating front mudguard. The bike also features a frame with a magnesium battery enclosure that merges into a wing-shaped section with fins at the front and rear, providing strength while maintaining a retro appearance.
Modern Features and Advanced Technology
The bike includes a circular digital touchscreen instrument console, which displays all necessary information. Other notable features are keyless ignition via smartphone, over-the-air firmware updates, and cruise control. Royal Enfield has developed a dedicated chip for this bike to manage the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), which, according to the company, can process more than 2 lakh ride setting combinations, adjusting acceleration, braking, and regenerative response in real-time.
Expected Launch and Pricing
Royal Enfield has not yet officially announced the launch date for the Flying Flea C6, but based on testing and teasers, it is estimated to launch during the festive season of 2025. The expected price is between ₹1.5 lakh and ₹2 lakh, as it will be a premium electric bike.
