Respect for Places of Worship: Faujia Khans Response to Non-Hindus at Kedarnath and Badrinath Temples

New Delhi, March 21: NCP-SP MP Faujia Khan has responded to the demand for affidavits from non-Hindus wishing to visit the Kedarnath and Badrinath temples. She emphasized the importance of respecting all places of worship.

In an interview, Khan stated, “You are aware of the current situation in the country. If some people wish to restrict non-Hindus from entering, that is their belief. Moreover, why would non-Hindus want to visit temples when they have their own places of worship?”

She reiterated that respect for all places of worship is essential. “Every religion teaches us to love one another. Therefore, we should all live in harmony,” she added.

Regarding Eid-ul-Fitr, Faujia Khan extended her wishes to all her fellow citizens, saying, “Today is a day of joy. After 30 days of fasting during Ramadan, we celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with acts of charity.”

Khan further expressed, “Through Eid, I want to convey that we should all pray for peace and brotherhood in our country. It is crucial for our nation.”

On the topic of the ongoing fuel and gas shortage, Khan remarked, “The ground reality is starkly different from the government’s claims. People are facing significant challenges. It’s not just about panic over gas; individuals are waiting in long lines, and it is not easily available. Rising gas prices are also causing severe distress.”

The NCP-SP MP concluded by stating that this is an energy crisis that could have been avoided with better planning. “We lacked proper planning, which is why citizens are struggling,” she said.
