Beijing, August 29: Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the 2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Bishkek and will also make a state visit to Kyrgyzstan. Meanwhile, a multilingual version of “Xi Jinping’s Favorite Timeless Quotes,” produced by China Media Group (CMG), will begin broadcasting on August 30 across major media outlets in several SCO member countries.
The broadcasting platforms include the Kyrgyz National Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, Belarus’ “Peace” International Broadcasting and Television Company, the Presidential TV and Radio Complex of Kazakhstan, Pakistan Television Corporation, the Russian State Media Group, and the Uzbekistan National Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
This program focuses on themes such as economic development, technological innovation, ecological civilization, and social welfare. It features selected quotes from ancient Chinese texts cited in President Xi Jinping’s significant speeches and writings. These quotes help illuminate the historical and cultural foundations of his governance philosophy while showcasing China’s experiences and wisdom in addressing global issues.
Recently, major media outlets from SCO member countries have provided extensive previews of this program. The Kyrgyz newspaper “Slovo Kyrgistana” published a preview and a special article on its front page, stating that the program narrates China’s story in the new era from an international perspective, reflecting President Xi Jinping’s political wisdom and cultural background. It also serves as an important medium for understanding China’s views on civilization and development.
According to reports, from August 25, posters for the program have been displayed on external screens in key areas of Bishkek, Moscow, Minsk, and other cities. Local residents have expressed high expectations for the program, believing that the governance ideas presented could inspire the development of SCO member countries and contribute to building a closer SCO community with a shared future.
