Bengaluru, June 1: As the excitement builds for the IPL 2026 final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT), a unique community mural titled ’11 Hearts’ is capturing the attention of fans in the city.
Created by local artists, this mural is more than just a piece of art; it symbolizes the emotions of every RCB supporter who has passionately lived the dream of ‘Ee Sala Cup Namde’ for the past 18 years. According to the artists, this mural is dedicated to all fans who have stood by the team through thick and thin, especially honoring the 11 individuals who tragically lost their lives in last year’s stampede.
In anticipation of the final match, many people are visiting the mural site to pay tribute to the 11 fans who perished in the unfortunate incident, while also writing their best wishes for RCB.
Fan Sinchana shared that she signed the mural with “Let’s Go RCB.” She expressed her belief that this will be RCB’s second trophy, and for her, Virat Kohli is as significant as any trophy.
Another supporter, Kaushik, stated that RCB is not just a team for him; it feels like family. He mentioned that the mural is dedicated to both the 11 players taking the field and the 11 fans who lost their lives in the stampede. This sentiment inspired the creation of this special wall art.
Fan Prajwal explained that the mural’s name, ’11 Hearts,’ serves as a tribute to the 11 true RCB supporters who came to celebrate the team’s journey to the finals last year. The 11 hearts depicted throughout the mural symbolize their memory. He noted that several artists from Bengaluru collaborated to bring this artwork to life in just one day.
RCB supporter Kavya emphasized that regardless of whether the team wins or loses, her support will always be with RCB. She expressed confidence that this time the team will fulfill the dreams of millions of fans by winning the trophy.
Before the IPL final, the ’11 Hearts’ mural has demonstrated that cricket is not just a sport; it is a powerful connection of emotions, memories, and people.
