Lucknow, May 10: The Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) is playing a crucial role in realizing the dreams of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Through IGRS, public hearings, welfare schemes, and revenue activities are continuously monitored, helping districts establish better administrative standards.
In the April report of IGRS, Rampur secured the top position with a score of 138 points. Pilibhit followed in second place, while Shravasti and Amethi shared the third spot. Each month, IGRS releases reports evaluating the revenue activities, development projects, and public grievances of districts. The performance of 109 programs across 49 departments is reviewed based on various criteria, leading to district rankings.
According to the April report, Rampur achieved 138 points out of a total of 140, resulting in a ratio of 98.57%. District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi stated that the IGRS report assesses the performance of districts that have excelled in administrative efficiency, development projects, and revenue management. He emphasized that development works in Rampur are being completed in a timely and quality manner, in line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision.
Additionally, grievances received through IGRS are being resolved promptly and effectively. Notably, Rampur has maintained its first position for the past four months. Pilibhit District Magistrate Gyanendra Singh mentioned that, following the Chief Minister’s directives, grievances are prioritized during public hearings, leading to a consistent improvement in the resolution rate of public complaints. Pilibhit has held the second position in the state for four consecutive months.
In the April report, Pilibhit scored 137 points, placing it second overall with a ratio of 97.86%. Shravasti secured third place with 136 points, achieving a ratio of 97.14%. District Magistrate Annapurna Garg noted that weekly meetings with officials are held to review the timely and quality completion of development projects. Public grievances are prioritized, and the IGRS report is released only after satisfactory feedback on their resolution.
Amethi also scored 136 points, sharing the third position. Meanwhile, districts such as Hathras, Bareilly, Hamirpur, Badaun, Barabanki, and Ballia made it to the top ten.
