Moradabad, June 13: Kashish Warsi, the National President of the Indian Sufi Foundation, has condemned AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi for his visit to Bahraich, accusing him of inciting religious sentiments.
Warsi stated that Owaisi’s party has long relied on stirring Muslim emotions to gain political leverage. While Owaisi presents himself as a champion of Muslims, Warsi argues that this is merely a political tactic.
She suggested that if Owaisi intended to start his activities from a religious site in Uttar Pradesh, he should have chosen locations like Deva Sharif or Madar Tul Auliya, which symbolize faith and love. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also praised Deva Sharif. Warsi accused Owaisi of deliberately selecting controversial issues and sensitive locations to create societal tension.
Warsi emphasized that some political activities serve as a medium for inciting religious sentiments and spreading hatred. According to her, the Muslim community in Uttar Pradesh is beginning to recognize this type of politics and will not support it in the future.
In response to the mandate for police verification and identification cards for gym trainers, she described it as a timely and appropriate decision. No individual should be allowed to conceal their identity while engaging in work or business.
She noted that such measures are essential for safety, as it could be dangerous if a person with a criminal background becomes a gym trainer. Therefore, character verification and police checks are necessary.
Warsi also mentioned that wearing identification cards around the neck poses no issue, as many institutions already implement this practice. This decision should be supported and welcomed.
