Azamgarh, August 16: UP government minister OP Rajbhar has sharply criticized Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav‘s claim of forming a government in 2027. Rajbhar stated, “No matter how much Akhilesh claims, the government will not be formed in this life. Instead of preparing for 2027, he should prepare for the next birth.”
Rajbhar did not stop there. He challenged Akhilesh to announce the appointment of a Muslim community member as Deputy Chief Minister.
In response to Akhilesh’s statements, Rajbhar remarked, “I would like to tell Akhilesh that the funds your legislators are receiving from the government, which includes a cabinet proposal to allocate ₹25 lakh annually for the treatment of the poor, can be distributed by the 403 MLAs in their respective areas, ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹5 lakh.”
He further questioned Akhilesh about the accountability of the funds provided by the government. “You should explain the money you are receiving from Delhi. Regarding the claim of forming a government in the next assembly elections, I reiterate, no government will be formed in this life, so prepare for the next birth,” he added.
Rajbhar also commented on SP MLA Shivpal Yadav’s remarks, stating, “When destruction looms, wisdom falters. Those who have been punished and jailed should not be made Home Minister. If you are honest and loyal and wish to secure Muslim votes, Akhilesh should declare that he will appoint a son from the Muslim community as Deputy Chief Minister.”
He further criticized Akhilesh, saying, “Akhilesh Yadav needs treatment. He is only making hollow statements. What did you achieve during your tenure? In five years, you oversaw a thousand riots, resulting in the deaths of twelve hundred people and curfews being imposed. During the Muzaffarnagar riots, the government was a mere spectator. Is this the kind of government you desire?”
