Rahul Gandhi Faces 99 Electoral Defeats Despite Bharat Jodo Yatra

New Delhi, May 4: The recent assembly election results across four states and one union territory have reignited discussions about Rahul Gandhi’s political career. Despite being a central figure in Congress politics for over two decades, Gandhi has recorded 99 electoral defeats, just one shy of a century.

Notably, Rahul Gandhi launched the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in September 2022, claiming it aimed to unite the nation and protect the Constitution. However, following this journey, Congress faced significant losses in several states, including those through which the yatra passed. In the Lok Sabha elections, while the BJP did lose some seats, the party once again formed the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A poster released by Info in Data highlights Rahul Gandhi’s 99 electoral defeats, marking states where Congress has suffered losses in various elections. This includes references to the Lok Sabha elections in 2014, 2019, and 2024, where the party faced setbacks.

On the social media platform X, Info in Data shared the poster, stating, “While we still await final results, it is confirmed: Rahul Gandhi has 99 defeats.”

During Rahul Gandhi’s tenure at the forefront of Congress, the party has encountered electoral defeats in numerous states and union territories.
