Lucknow, February 13: Pooja Pal, a former legislator expelled from the Samajwadi Party, has expressed her support for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement affirming the state government’s commitment to the interests of the Pal community. She stated that she received justice during the tenure of the BJP government.

During a recent address in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted his government’s achievements, emphasizing their dedication to the Pal community. He mentioned that justice has been served in the cases of Raju Pal and Umesh Pal, who were connected to the community of Ahilyabai Holkar. The Chief Minister asserted that his administration is seriously addressing issues of social justice and security.

In an interview with a news agency, Pooja Pal remarked that the people of Uttar Pradesh and the Pal community are well aware of which government is working in their favor. She affirmed that the Chief Minister’s comments regarding Ahilyabai Holkar are accurate, as the BJP government has honored her legacy. Additionally, she noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recognized Ahilyabai Holkar on a national level during her birth anniversary, a gesture not extended by previous administrations.

Pooja Pal condemned the brutal murder of Raju Pal, which occurred during the tenure of the Samajwadi Party government. She alleged that the family was not provided with the body in a timely manner, raising questions about the governance at that time. She praised CM Yogi Adityanath for taking steps to ensure justice in this case after the BJP came to power, thereby restoring faith in the Pal community.

While acknowledging that her husband Raju Pal was murdered during the Samajwadi Party’s rule, she emphasized that the current BJP government has worked towards delivering justice. Pooja Pal concluded that both the central and state governments have proven to be the greatest allies for the Pal community, a sentiment that the people of the state have recognized and understood.
