Police Honor Outstanding Students from Their Families in Noida

Noida, June 8: A special ceremony was held to honor the academic achievements of police officers’ and staff’s children at the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate. Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh and the supervision of the DCP Headquarters, the event took place in the multipurpose hall at the Police Lines, organized by ACP Police Lines in collaboration with Vama Sarathi, Uttar Pradesh Police Welfare Association.

During the ceremony, seven students who excelled in the high school and intermediate examinations for the year 2025-26, achieving scores of 90% or higher, were recognized. Each student received a certificate and a prize for their outstanding performance.

ACP Lines Shakeel Mohammad honored the talented students, wishing them a bright future. He emphasized that hard work, discipline, and dedication are the keys to success. He encouraged the students to remain committed to achieving their goals and noted that their achievements are a source of pride for both their families and the entire police department.

The ceremony also featured participation from the chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Police Welfare Association, who joined via video conferencing from the Lucknow headquarters. She shared information about various initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of police families and enhancing children’s education.

Additionally, the event highlighted a significant initiative to provide quality education to police family children, announcing memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with eight prestigious coaching institutes. These MOUs will offer coaching services to police personnel’s children at discounted rates, and attendees were informed in detail about these opportunities.
