New Delhi, June 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to receive accolades as he marks a historic 12 years in office, the longest tenure for any elected Prime Minister in India. Leaders from various states, ministers, and universities have reflected on his achievements during this time.
Goa’s Chief Minister Pramod Sawant congratulated PM Modi on completing 12 years in office, stating, “On behalf of the people of Goa, I congratulate PM Modi for becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister. The dream of ‘Akhand Bharat’ has been realized during his tenure, which includes the abrogation of Article 370. Creating a Naxal-free and terrorism-free India is another significant achievement, along with the construction of the Ram Temple. These are the three most important milestones of PM Modi’s administration.”
Rajasthan’s state minister Sanjay Sharma mentioned that awareness and welfare programs are being organized in Alwar and across Rajasthan to commemorate this occasion. The district administration has initiated cleanliness drives, tree plantation activities, and exhibitions.
Sunil Kumar Sharma, the opposition leader in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, stated, “The development of the country and Jammu and Kashmir over the past 12 years has been possible only because of PM Modi. A common man born into a poor family, inspired by national sentiment, has transformed the country’s landscape.”
Cabinet minister Saurabh Bahuguna from Uttarakhand highlighted that under PM Modi’s leadership, India has made significant strides in governance, welfare, and infrastructure. The Uttarakhand government is also accelerating development through key projects, welfare schemes, and a “Development Festival.”
Cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal from Uttarakhand noted that the past 12 years have seen extensive changes in India through welfare programs, infrastructure development, financial inclusion, strong national security, and inclusive growth. The abrogation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram Temple, effective control over terrorism and Naxalism, and improvements in education and health sectors are viewed as major achievements of his tenure.
Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh remarked, “The actions taken by the government over the past 12 years have transformed every sector, but perhaps the most significant changes have occurred in education. This transformation is a result of the Prime Minister’s hard work, vision, and his strong commitment to building a developed India by 2047.”
