New Delhi, July 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared a significant message with the nation through the social media platform ‘X’, urging citizens to connect with the profound philosophies of Indian culture, environmental conservation, and eternal traditions.
Using Sanskrit verses and their heartfelt Hindi meanings, the Prime Minister called for the creation of a healthy, prosperous, and empowered India.
He expressed the importance of gratitude and service towards nature, stating, “Respect for nature, the environment, and all of creation is at the core of our existence. Let us participate in building a healthy, prosperous, and strong nation with full gratitude and a spirit of service.”
Earlier, on Wednesday, during Guru Purnima, PM Modi paid homage to the guru-disciple tradition and extended good wishes to the citizens. He remarked that gurus not only impart knowledge but also instill positive energy in their disciples, shaping their character.
On the previous day, Tuesday, PM Modi shared a thought on social media, stating, “The welfare of humanity lies in the preservation and respect for nature. Our traditions inspire us to uphold this righteous conduct.” He also shared a Sanskrit verse that translates to the idea that a harmonious life with nature and righteousness is the foundation of happiness, security, and prosperity.
This verse emphasizes that the deities who protect the directions, including Indra and other major gods, along with the six seasons, all months, years, nights, days, and auspicious moments, should always be beneficial. The Vedas, scriptures, and dharma should protect everyone in all ways.
