New Delhi, August 2: Indian athletes have achieved remarkable success at the Commonwealth Games 2026. So far, approximately 38 athletes from India have secured medals, and the tally continues to rise. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to all the athletes for their outstanding victories.

The Prime Minister took to social media platform X to wish the medal winners. He congratulated Preeti for her gold medal in women’s boxing, stating that her performance in the 54 kg category was exceptional. He expressed pride in her consistent excellence and wished her continued success.

PM Modi also congratulated Jasmin Lamboria for winning gold in the 57 kg women’s boxing event at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. He noted that her hard work and dedication were evident in her success and wished her the best for the future.

He praised Praveen Chithravel for winning a silver medal in the men’s triple jump, expressing joy at his best performance in his sporting career. He congratulated him and wished him success in his future endeavors.

On Selva Prabhu Thirumaran’s bronze medal achievement, PM Modi expressed pride in his personal best performance at the Commonwealth Games and congratulated him, hoping for even better results in the future.

For Shubham Juyal, who won a silver medal in the men’s shot put F57 event, PM Modi expressed immense pride in his remarkable technique and dedication to the sport. He encouraged Shubham to aim for even greater achievements.
