Jind, August 27: The Soil Health Card Scheme initiated by the central government is proving to be a boon for farmers in Jind district, Haryana. Farmers report that this scheme provides them with accurate information about their land’s fertility and nutrient content, enabling them to achieve higher yields at lower costs.
Farmers have shared that the Soil Health Card Scheme is advantageous. Through soil sampling, they can determine the nutrients present in fertile land, allowing them to reduce fertilizer costs while increasing their harvest. The soil samples from their fields are sent to laboratories for analysis, giving farmers timely and precise information about their soil.
Anup, a beneficiary farmer from Jind, stated, “The Soil Health Card Scheme is an excellent initiative. It will improve soil quality and benefit farmers at lower costs. The government is doing a great job for us.”
Another farmer, Dharmveer, expressed, “Under the Prime Minister’s initiative, we have gained insights into the Soil Health Card Scheme. This will be beneficial for farmers in the future. It ensures timely testing of soil samples, which is very advantageous. This scheme will increase farmers’ income and maintain soil fertility. We thank the government for this support.”
It is noteworthy that the government continuously introduces various schemes for farmers’ welfare, enhancing their income and bringing prosperity to their homes. Previously, there were few significant initiatives for farmers, but under the Modi government, numerous public welfare schemes have been implemented, making farming much simpler and easier for them.
