New Delhi, May 22: Congress leader Pawan Khera has responded critically to the statement made by the NTA chief regarding the NEET paper leak. In an interview with a news agency, he remarked that it was not a paper leak, but rather that questions had surfaced externally.
Khera recalled the 2024 incident when the paper leak reached the CBI. He noted the delays caused by the CBI, which even requested more time from the court, leading to a reprimand from the judiciary. He expressed concern that this situation is repeating itself, leaving an entire generation in darkness and jeopardizing their future.
On the recent cabinet meeting, Khera pointed out a similar incident that occurred on June 4, 2025. He sarcastically remarked that ministers who previously considered themselves unemployed found temporary employment during the meeting.
Khera raised questions about the future generation of 2047, asking whom they would turn to for answers. He emphasized the pressing issues of unemployment, hunger, law and order, women’s safety, food shortages, and farmers’ problems, questioning who would address these concerns.
Regarding the Delhi government’s guidelines for animal sacrifice during Bakrid, Khera questioned the necessity of new regulations when existing laws are already in place. He highlighted that the focus is being diverted from real issues, as these guidelines appear every Bakrid.
It is noteworthy that the Delhi government has issued strict guidelines for Bakrid. Minister Kapil Mishra shared a video on his official ‘X’ handle, detailing these directives and warning of severe legal action for any violations.
Mishra clarified that sacrificing cattle, cows, calves, camels, and other restricted animals during Bakrid is entirely illegal, and criminal cases will be filed against violators.
