Pappu Yadav Advocates for Teacher Respect Amid Controversy

Patna, June 17: Independent MP Pappu Yadav from Purnia has responded sharply to former minister Neeraj Kumar Singh ‘Bablu’, who labeled Khan Sir as a fraud. During a press interaction on Wednesday, Yadav emphasized the need for respect towards teachers. He remarked that television and YouTube have elevated some individuals, creating a distorted perception among children, which he believes is detrimental to society.

Yadav stated, “Teachers should be shielded from such controversies. While leaders may be prominent figures, I have no objection to that. However, a new interest has emerged, with Faisal Khan and Roshan Yadav both holding their own respect as educators. One has gained global recognition, while the other has inspired hope and trust.”

He also raised concerns about the coaching mafia, asserting that it has leaked numerous examination papers. “In Bihar, a change is underway. Now, 80% of students are eager to prepare for competitive exams within their own state,” he added.

According to Yadav, a conspiracy against teachers has been orchestrated by politicians. He urged both educators to step forward and resolve the ongoing dispute. “I will tell my children to respect teachers. This controversy tarnishes the education sector’s reputation and diverts attention from pressing issues in Bihar. There are many important matters, yet no one is focusing on them. Leaders are merely fueling the fire. Why has there suddenly been a surge of affection for the Yadav community? This was never the case before.”

Additionally, he commented on the case of Roshan’s brother, Prince, stating that systemic failures led to his death. “What was the rush to imprison Roshan? Was he a criminal?” he questioned.
