Saharanpur, June 7: Congress MP Imran Masood has expressed serious concerns over the recent paper leak incidents in various competitive exams, including NEET. He stated that the futures of millions of young people are at stake, and accountability must be established.
Masood emphasized that every mother loves her child, and the fear and anxiety seen in students reflect the current atmosphere in the country. He noted that students are worried about their futures, which appear bleak due to these leaks. When exam papers are compromised, it causes mental trauma for students and undermines their hard work.
He questioned the government about who is responsible for these incidents. Masood argued that, on ethical grounds, the Education Minister should resign. He accused the government of failing to take effective action in past incidents, which has led to the recurrence of such issues. He insisted that if stringent measures had been implemented earlier, repeated paper leaks could have been avoided.
Masood also challenged the government’s claims regarding the effectiveness of CCTV and online monitoring systems to prevent leaks. He stated that if these preparations were truly effective, paper leaks would not occur at all.
Responding to BJP leaders who suggested that foreign entities are trying to influence the youth, Masood sarcastically remarked that the youth’s future is affected not by outsiders but by government policies. He criticized the government for not fulfilling its promises regarding job creation and questioned the education system’s integrity. He stated that young people seek employment and quality education but are instead met with disappointment.
On the controversy surrounding Khan Sir’s coaching institute, Masood asserted that the main focus should be on the NEET paper leak and the flaws in the education system. He called for serious discussions on issues affecting the future of the country’s youth rather than diverting attention to unrelated matters.
He also criticized the BJP regarding the survey of madrasas in West Bengal, stating that while significant issues like paper leaks remain unresolved, the government is preoccupied with madrasas, which he labeled a distracting agenda.
When asked about the INDIA alliance, Imran Masood remarked that the country is clearly moving towards two ideological poles. He indicated that one side is led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while the other is led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He predicted that the political landscape would soon witness a direct ideological battle, with the public making decisions based on their beliefs.
Regarding the rising prices of LPG gas cylinders, he claimed that the trend of increasing prices may continue. He noted that Rahul Gandhi had previously warned the government about inflation and economic challenges in Parliament, but his concerns were ignored.
