Over 1.07 Crore Voters Marked as ASDDO in Karnatakas Special Intensive Revision

Bengaluru, August 19: In Karnataka, more than 1.07 crore voters, accounting for 19.48 percent of the total, have been categorized as ASDDO under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list.

ASDDO refers to voters who have either shifted permanently, passed away, or are duplicates. This information was released by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of the state on Tuesday.

A total of 1,07,96,415 voters have been marked under the ASDDO category, while 4,46,35,899 voters, or 80.52 percent, have had their enumeration forms (EF) digitized. As of June 16, 2026, Karnataka had 5,54,32,314 registered voters. The door-to-door counting and digitization process took place from June 30 to August 17.

Among those marked as ASDDO, 65,45,721 voters, or 11.81 percent, are categorized as having permanently shifted. Additionally, 16,39,871 voters, or 2.96 percent, have been declared deceased.

Furthermore, 15,17,056 voters, or 2.74 percent, fall into the category of those whose addresses could not be verified or who were found absent. There are also 7,09,875 voters, or 1.28 percent, who have already been marked as registered, while 3,83,892 voters, or 0.69 percent, fall under the ‘other’ category.

The CEO’s office reported that it has printed and distributed all 5,54,32,314 enumeration forms to booth-level officers (BLOs), achieving 100 percent coverage. The digitization status includes ASDDO-marked voters, resulting in a total of 5,54,32,314 or 100 percent of enumeration forms being digitized.

Meanwhile, 7,13,077 voters, or 1.29 percent, have submitted their enumeration forms online. The CEO’s office has provided the list of ASDDO-marked voters to political parties, and it is also available for verification with the BLOs.

Voters who believe they have been incorrectly marked as ASDDO can request a rollback of their enumeration form through the relevant BLO or Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).

The CEO’s office also stated that the list of ASDDO (UEF) voters under SIR-2026 is available on its official website. In BBMP/GBA areas, nearly 10 lakh ‘Form 6’ applications have been printed and distributed to the relevant EROs for those wishing to include their names in the voter list.
