OP Rajbhar Defends PM Modis Peace Efforts Amidst Opposition Criticism

Lucknow, March 3: The political landscape has intensified following Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s remarks questioning the central government’s policies after the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Uttar Pradesh Minister OP Rajbhar has criticized Gandhi, highlighting a significant difference in their perspectives.

In an interview with a news agency, Rajbhar stated, “This is incorrect. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made efforts for peace by engaging in dialogue with both nations. There is a clear distinction between Sonia Gandhi’s and the Prime Minister’s thinking. Modi consistently adopts a balanced approach both domestically and internationally.”

Rajbhar emphasized that the opposition continually seeks to mislead the public with various issues, but they fail to realize that this will not yield any results. “The public is well aware,” he added.

He also praised Prime Minister Modi’s recent telephone conversations with leaders from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. Rajbhar remarked, “Modi has attempted to steer issues in the right direction through dialogue. When two countries are in conflict, it adversely affects not just them but other nations as well. The Prime Minister always focuses on peace and cooperation.”

Commenting on the discussion with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Rajbhar noted, “The Prime Minister desires to prevent conflicts both within the country and globally. War impacts ordinary citizens and national assets. Instead of progressing towards development, a country moves towards destruction. Maintaining peace and halting conflict is always the Prime Minister’s priority.”

Additionally, Rajbhar targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating that the public in Bengal is distressed as the government is not addressing their issues. He predicted that this would reflect in the upcoming elections. “The people of Bengal desire change and development, similar to what is being witnessed in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The Election Commission is an independent agency, and processes like removing deceased individuals from the voter list are being legally implemented,” he concluded.
