Mumbai, April 4: OnePlus has begun the rollout of the OxygenOS 16.0.5.700 update for the OnePlus Pad. This update introduces a variety of feature enhancements, usability improvements, and the latest security patch. The update is being distributed in batches across India, Europe, global markets, and North America, with the build version OPD2203_16.0.5.700(EX01).
The primary focus of this update is to enhance everyday usability. Users can now run multiple timers simultaneously, making multitasking more efficient. Additionally, timers will display estimated stop times, aiding in better tracking. The Content Portal has also been upgraded to support app clones, facilitating easier sharing across duplicate applications. Furthermore, app organization in Drawer mode has been revamped with new “Office” and “Finance” categories for quicker access.
Connectivity features have seen significant improvements. A new option, “Automatically open received files,” has been introduced, allowing users to control whether shared files open automatically upon receipt.
Privacy and file management have received notable upgrades as well. Users can now browse files in Private Safe using a side slider. The ability to search within folders in Private Safe is now supported, and files stored there can be shared directly. These changes enhance both accessibility and control over private data.
Additionally, the update integrates the April 2026 Android security patch, bolstering system security and protecting against known vulnerabilities.
This rollout is limited to devices already operating on OxygenOS 16. Users currently on OxygenOS 15 will need to upgrade to OxygenOS 16 before receiving this build.
