Om Prakash Rajbhar Criticizes Akhilesh Yadav Over Atrocities Against Dalits and Backward Classes

Lucknow, July 17: Om Prakash Rajbhar, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and the national president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, has launched a sharp attack on Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party. In his latest post on social media, part of the series titled “Caste Violence by the Samajwadi Party: Part 3,” Rajbhar accused the Samajwadi Party of perpetrating atrocities against Dalits and extremely backward communities during its rule.

Rajbhar stated on the platform X that the Samajwadi Party’s history is marred by violence against these communities. He questioned why Yadav and his associates harbor such animosity towards Dalits and backward classes. He emphasized that even when not in power, the Samajwadi Party’s supporters are responsible for the highest number of atrocities in the state. He warned that if they regain power, the level of crime would increase significantly.

He recalled March 2012, noting how the Samajwadi Party’s supporters unleashed violence immediately after coming to power. Rajbhar highlighted the district of Bhadohi as a witness to this reign of terror, recalling an incident where Samajwadi Party supporters attacked a Dalit settlement in the village of Makdoom Pur. Residents pleaded for mercy, but the attackers, intoxicated by power, set homes ablaze simply because the residents did not vote for the Samajwadi Party.

Rajbhar further condemned the treatment of women from the Bahujan community during these attacks, stating that the trauma still haunts them. He criticized the lack of support for the victims, claiming that the entire system had become an extension of the Samajwadi Party’s office. He noted that even when applications for justice were filed, no FIRs were registered due to pressure from the party’s leadership in Lucknow.

He concluded by recalling the need for intervention from Delhi when public outrage grew over these incidents, stating that the Samajwadi Party’s governance equates to creating a living hell for backward and Dalit communities. Rajbhar asserted that the Samajwadi Party’s ideology is rooted in exploitation, warning that their return to power would turn Uttar Pradesh into a state similar to West Bengal. He ended with a rallying cry for justice and unity among the people.
