
Noida, April 10: In a significant development, police in Noida have registered a First Information Report (FIR) in the suspicious death of Amity University student Harshit Bhatt. The case, originating from the Sector 126 police station, follows a complaint from the victim’s family, leading to murder charges against three other students who were with Harshit at the time of the incident. Authorities are now conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
According to reports, the incident occurred in a pond-like pit filled with water located in Sector 94. It is alleged that Harshit, accompanied by his three friends, drowned while attempting to swim. Since the incident, the circumstances surrounding his death have raised suspicions, prompting the family to demand an impartial investigation.
The victim’s relatives claim that this was not merely an accident but may involve a conspiracy. They have leveled serious allegations against the students who were present with Harshit, which has led police to file murder charges based on their complaint.
Family members insist that the statements of the students present at the time of the incident must be thoroughly examined.
