NMPTB Announces Recruitment for Multiple Positions, Apply by July 30

New Delhi, June 17: The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPTB) has issued an official notification announcing the recruitment of seven regular positions on a deputation basis. This announcement comes as a significant opportunity for job seekers.

The available positions include one each for Sub-Advisor (Medicinal Plants), Assistant Advisor (Botany), Finance and Administrative Officer, Research Officer (Botany), Assistant Research Officer, and Accountant.

The offline application process began on May 26, and the deadline for submitting applications is set for July 30. Candidates interested in these roles are advised to submit their registration forms by 5:30 PM on the final date.

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Botany, Pharmacognosy, Agriculture, Agronomy, or Forestry from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates should have at least five years of experience in administration, establishment, and accounts-related matters. Other qualifications include a Master’s degree in Botany/Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy), and nine weeks of training in cash and accounts.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 56 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Selection will be based on application screening, evaluation by a selection committee, and shortlisting. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹2,09,200, depending on the position.

They can then download the application form provided in the notification and print it out. All required information must be filled in, and relevant documents should be attached.
