Patna, March 6: Bihar government minister and BJP leader Dilip Jayaswal has responded to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections. He stated that the political guidance of Nitish Kumar will be beneficial for the entire nation in the realm of national politics.
Speaking about Nitish Kumar, Minister Dilip Jayaswal remarked, “Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha. Certainly, in the coming times, the political guidance of Nitish Kumar will benefit the entire country.”
Nitish Kumar submitted his nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections on Thursday. Prior to this, he met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Patna.
In his announcement regarding the Rajya Sabha elections, Nitish stated in an ‘X’ post, “Since the beginning of my parliamentary life, I have had a desire to be a member of both houses of the Bihar legislature as well as both houses of Parliament. In this context, I wish to become a member of the Rajya Sabha in the upcoming elections.”
Meanwhile, Dilip Jayaswal commented on the appointment of former Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav as the Governor of Nagaland, saying, “Nand Kishore Yadav has been a dedicated party worker. He has served as a minister and Assembly Speaker in the Bihar government. He has extensive organizational experience and administrative expertise.”
Jayawsal further added, “I wish Nand Kishore Yadav all the best. He will serve the nation well in his role as Governor.”
He also targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating, “Mamata Banerjee should question herself about how constitutional institutions are being undermined in Bengal. The way TMC workers are mocking the Constitution, the entire nation is watching what Mamata Banerjee is doing. People in politics are violating constitutional norms to an alarming extent.”
