Nitin Naveen Honors Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on His Martyrdom Day

New Delhi, June 23: Nitin Naveen, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), paid tribute to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his martyrdom anniversary at the BJP headquarters. He was accompanied by the party’s National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santosh and leader Vasundhara Raje.

Speaking to the media, Naveen stated, “I respectfully pay homage to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his 73rd martyrdom day. He was a fervent nationalist, a great thinker, and the country’s first Minister of Industry. The dream he envisioned and the sacrifice he made are now becoming a reality before us. I believe that the removal of Article 370 in Kashmir under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership is a true tribute to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. He fought and sacrificed for the protection of the borders of West Bengal, Assam, and Punjab. Today, the BJP government in West Bengal, his birthplace, is committed to following the path he laid out and safeguarding our borders.”

Nitin Naveen further remarked, “The vision and spirit with which Shyama Prasad founded the Janata Sangh in 1951, to lead a nationalist ideology, is reflected today in the efforts of over 140 million BJP workers who are dedicated to advancing India. The work of fulfilling the dream Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had for India is being carried out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

The BJP President also expressed his sentiments on social media, stating, “On the martyrdom day of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of the Bharatiya Jan Sangh, a fervent nationalist thinker who dedicated everything for the integrity of Mother India, I offer my deepest respects. His resolve that ‘there cannot be two laws, two leaders, and two symbols in one country’ was not just a slogan but an unwavering commitment to the unity and integrity of the nation. His struggle and sacrifice for the complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir are indelibly etched in Indian history.”

Nitin Naveen concluded, “Dr. Mukherjee established the Janata Sangh, giving a powerful direction to the nationalist ideology and spreading the spirit of putting the nation first through his thoughts, courage, and sacrifice. His life and sacrifice will always inspire us to prioritize national interests and make every possible effort for India’s unity, integrity, and self-respect, which is the true tribute to his legacy.”
