
Patna, June 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to become India’s longest-serving Prime Minister. Leaders from various political parties have congratulated him, praising the country’s achievements and developmental journey under his leadership. Senior Janata Dal (United) leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad expressed that this moment is a source of pride and a national achievement for all Indians.
In an interview with a news agency, Prasad highlighted that the historic mandate given to Prime Minister Modi in 2014 has led India to achieve several long-awaited goals. He noted that under Modi’s leadership, India’s relevance and influence on the global stage have significantly increased, along with a strengthened strategic power.
Prasad mentioned that during this tenure, India has made significant strides in security and has effectively responded to challenges from Pakistan. He emphasized that better management and policy decisions in various sectors, especially the core sector, have created jobs and opportunities.
He also pointed out that Prime Minister Modi’s term has witnessed major challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and a global economic crisis. Despite these difficulties, India’s economic growth rate has outperformed many countries. He extended congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Modi for this successful and achievement-filled tenure on behalf of the entire nation.
Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP and National Lok Morcha (RLM) chief Upendra Kushwaha also warmly congratulated Prime Minister Modi on this milestone. He stated that the citizens of the country deserve thanks for their continued trust in Modi’s leadership. Kushwaha noted that under Modi’s guidance, numerous significant initiatives have been undertaken across the country, which are ongoing and will continue to drive future development.
He remarked that Prime Minister Modi has exceeded the expectations of the citizens, with visible development from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Kushwaha added that globally, Modi has enhanced India’s respect and prestige, making the citizens feel proud. He wished the Prime Minister well for the future, affirming that he and his colleagues have always supported Modi and will continue to do so.
