Modi’s visit also showcased diplomatic gestures, with a photograph of both prime ministers seated in the same car circulating online.
During the visit, Modi received Israel’s highest honor, with Israeli lawmakers standing to greet him. Many members of the Knesset rushed to take photos with him.
In his address to the parliament, Netanyahu mentioned the famous “Modi hug.” He remarked, “Prime Minister Modi’s personal embrace is something special. It’s known as the ‘Modi hug’ and is famous worldwide. When you hug someone closely, you know it’s genuine, not just for show.”
Netanyahu added, “This gesture signifies not just our personal relationship and friendship, but truly reflects the warmth between our two peoples.
