Mamata Banerjees Anxiety Grows Amid Change in Bengal: Danish Azad Ansari

Lucknow, April 27: Danish Azad Ansari, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, has made a significant claim regarding the upcoming elections in West Bengal. He expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to form a majority government in the state.

Voting for 142 seats in the second phase is scheduled for April 29. The election campaign will officially conclude on Monday evening.

In an interview from Lucknow, Ansari stated that a wave of change is sweeping through West Bengal, causing unease within the government led by Mamata Banerjee. He noted that there have been ongoing conspiracies to incite violence during the elections.

“The way West Bengal is moving towards change has made the government anxious, and this violence appears to be government-supported. The people of West Bengal are witnessing all of this, and I am confident they will respond decisively to Mamata Banerjee,” he said.

Ansari added that the anxiety of Mamata Banerjee is evident as the public has decided to give her a strong response through their votes in the elections.

He mentioned that voting for the second phase will take place on April 29, with the campaign ending on Monday. The enthusiasm of the public was evident in the first phase, where over 90% voter turnout was recorded. He believes that the people of Bengal are eager to vote again, as they no longer trust any promises made by Mamata Banerjee.

“Mamata Banerjee has done nothing for the people of Bengal in 15 years. She has failed to fulfill the dreams she presented. The public is suffering under her rule. They want development, and this can only be achieved under a BJP government. A majority BJP government is on the horizon in Bengal,” he asserted.

He also mentioned that Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Ganga Expressway in Hardoi district on April 29.
