Indian Community Celebrates PM Modis Visit to Paris and Upcoming Hindu Temple Construction

Paris, June 18: During his visit to Paris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome from the Indian community, who expressed their joy and pride in sharing their experiences. They felt a deep sense of pride in welcoming the Prime Minister.

Vaibhavi Parik spoke to a news agency, stating, “Welcoming Prime Minister Modi has filled us with immense pride.” She further highlighted another reason for their pride: the construction of a Hindu temple in Paris, set to be inaugurated in September 2026. “We invite everyone to the temple inauguration. Notably, this temple is ‘Made in India,’” she added.

Indian expatriate Pratik mentioned, “This will be the first Hindu temple in France, with the inauguration scheduled for September. Under the guidance of our Guruji Mohanswami Maharaj, this temple is being built using stones sourced from India. A 15-day festival will be held in September, and we welcome all Indians to join us.”

Prime Minister Modi arrived in Paris on Thursday morning after successful meetings at the G-7 summit in Evian, France. The Indian community warmly welcomed him. He expressed pride in the efforts of the Indian community to bring India and France closer together, emphasizing the importance of the India-France partnership for global progress.

On his official social media platform, X, Prime Minister Modi shared photos of his interactions with Indian citizens. He wrote, “I just arrived in Paris, where the Indian community warmly welcomed me. I take pride in their efforts to bring India and France closer together. The India-France partnership is essential for the progress of our world.”
