Mumbai, September 7 (Daily Kiran) : Mahi Vij, a well-known television actress, is currently making headlines with her participation in ‘Bigg Boss 20,’ hosted by Salman Khan. Her entry into the reality show has excited fans, but it has also sparked speculation regarding her departure from her previous show, ‘Sahar Hone Ko Hai.’ Many believed she left the earlier series to join ‘Bigg Boss.’
In a recent interview, Mahi addressed these rumors directly, stating that her decisions were not connected. She clarified, “I had decided to leave ‘Sahar Hone Ko Hai’ back in January. However, the process of exiting took a while. My departure was not an impulsive decision. The show’s creatives were not ready for me to leave so quickly, which delayed my exit.”
Mahi expressed that she was not fully prepared to leave the show at that time. “‘Sahar Hone Ko Hai’ was very close to my heart. I was emotionally attached to it, making it difficult for me to walk away. However, I did not quit my previous show to join ‘Bigg Boss.’ The offer for ‘Bigg Boss’ came to me much later,” she explained.
She emphasized that there was no direct link between her leaving the old show and joining the new reality series. “I had already made my decision before receiving the ‘Bigg Boss’ offer. It’s not accurate to connect my exit from the old show with my entry into the new one,” Mahi added.
Excited about being part of ‘Bigg Boss 20,’ Mahi shared her thoughts on trying new experiences. “Life is about exploring new things at different times. I enjoy watching ‘Bigg Boss,’ but I had never seriously considered participating until now. I can’t quite explain why I decided to say yes this time,” she said.
Mahi believes that every opportunity comes at the right moment. “Perhaps the time has come for me to take part in ‘Bigg Boss.’ That’s why I accepted this chance. I’m eager to see how my journey unfolds inside the house,” she remarked.
She acknowledged the unpredictable nature of the ‘Bigg Boss’ environment. “Circumstances change constantly within the house. I don’t know which side of my personality will emerge. Viewers might see a different side of me that they haven’t witnessed before.”
