Mumbai, September 28 (Daily Kiran) : Rapper Karma has shared insights into his latest track, “Game Over,” which is part of the upcoming film “Drishyam: The Conclusion.” He emphasizes that the song embodies the uncertainty woven throughout the film’s narrative.
“Game Over” bursts with powerful energy, evoking a sense of a game that has progressed to a critical stage, leaving no room for retreat. The track reflects the mounting pressure, unpredictability, and sudden shifts experienced by the character Vijay Salgaonkar.
Karma not only composed the song but also wrote the lyrics and lent his voice to it. He collaborated with AK for Real in producing the track.
Discussing the inspiration behind “Game Over,” Karma explained, “The title itself sparked the idea. I aimed to create something with attitude that still resonates with the film’s world. There’s a lot of uncertainty in ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion,’ and I wanted that energy to come through without being too overt.”
He added, “When I started writing, the sound was crystal clear in my mind. I handled the lyrics, composition, and vocals myself. The finished product conveys a feeling that things have reached their breaking point, which is exactly the emotion I wanted to capture.”
The song presents a darker, more intense portrayal of Vijay Salgaonkar’s world, reflecting the pressures and challenges he faces.
With a shift in tone and emotions, “Game Over” adds a layer of conflict to the film’s soundtrack, enhancing the story’s sense of seriousness and unpredictability, where situations can escalate at any moment.
“Game Over” is available on all streaming platforms and has been released under the Sony Music India label.
