Riti Tiwaris Team Responds to Ekam Bawas Allegations, Initiates Legal Action

Mumbai, September 28 (Daily Kiran) : Riti Tiwari is currently a hot topic on “Bigg Boss 20,” but it’s the controversy surrounding her family that has garnered significant attention. Punjabi singer Ekam Bawa has recently shared several videos on social media, making serious allegations against Riti and her mother, Rani Tiwari.

Ekam claims to be Riti’s ex-stepfather and has asserted that he was in a relationship with Rani, even alleging that they were married. In response to these accusations, Riti Tiwari’s team has issued a statement addressing the claims.

The team expressed disappointment over the spread of what they described as false allegations by Ekam Bawa across various media platforms. They emphasized that Riti is currently confined in the “Bigg Boss 20” house and cannot respond directly to the allegations. They urged the media to verify facts before amplifying defamatory claims and requested that the family be given the opportunity to present their side. Furthermore, they confirmed that legal action against Ekam Bawa has already commenced.

Ekam has been actively posting videos discussing his relationship with Riti and Rani. In one video, he claimed that he lived with Rani from 2020 to 2022 and that they married on February 18, 2022. He also alleged that he resided in the same flat with Rani and Riti during this period.

In his videos, Ekam shared photographs of himself with Rani and Riti, presenting them as evidence for his claims. He also alleged that he faced prolonged mental harassment and threats, claiming that Rani physically assaulted him and that he possesses video evidence of the incident. According to him, this harassment led him to attempt suicide, resulting in a hospital stay of 12 to 13 days.

Ekam further accused Rani of interfering with his music career, stating that he was prevented from making important decisions related to his work. He claimed that these circumstances negatively impacted his career, leading him to isolate himself for months. He also mentioned that when he attempted to discuss divorce, his phone numbers were allegedly blocked.
