
Mumbai, September 7 (Daily Kiran) : Punjabi actress and model Love Gill recently shared her personal experiences with body shaming as she entered the Bigg Boss 20 house. Just a day into the show, contestants began engaging in conversations, and Love opened up about the harsh comments she faced throughout her life regarding her weight.
In a discussion with fellow contestant Aman Gandhi, Love reflected on her childhood. She recounted how she endured criticism not only for being overweight but also for losing weight. “When I was heavier, people commented on my body. After I lost weight, they still had something to say,” she explained.
Love described how people would remark that she looked too thin or question whether she had eaten anything. “It felt like no matter what I did, people had an opinion about my appearance,” she said.
Aman also shared his own experiences with body shaming, revealing that he faced similar comments due to being very thin.
Love Gill has established herself in the Punjabi entertainment industry, starting her career with music videos. She gained recognition in 2019 with a popular video featuring Punjabi singer Karan Aujla. Following her success in music, she transitioned to television, playing the role of Zarina in the Punjabi series “Tu Patang Main Dor.”
Her film career took off in 2021 with the Punjabi movie “Kudiyaan Jawan Bapu Pareshaan.” Since then, she has appeared in films like “Haters,” “Kulche Chole,” “Gadar 1947: Ikka Vichhoda,” and “Vekhi Ja Chhedi Na.” Now, she is a contestant on Bigg Boss 20.
The latest season of Bigg Boss kicked off on September 6, featuring a mix of personalities from entertainment, music, sports, and the digital world. Alongside Love Gill, contestants include MC Mary Kom, Kanika Mann, Mahi Vij, Kushal Tandon, Aman Gandhi, Esha Rikh, Arishfa Khan, Kazi Taukeer, Asif Khan, Amrapali Dubey, Riti Tiwari, Uditi Singh, Tanmay Singh (ScoutOP), Rohit Khan, and Young DSA.
