Madhya Pradesh Police Seizes Over 100 Stolen Vehicles, Multiple Arrests Made

Bhopal, April 2: The Madhya Pradesh Police has launched a significant crackdown on vehicle theft, resulting in the recovery of 109 stolen vehicles across various regions of the state. Authorities have focused particularly on two-wheeler thefts, leading to the arrest of several suspects involved in these crimes.

In Jabalpur district, the police uncovered an interstate vehicle theft and dismantling gang, seizing 15 stolen vehicles taken from Jabalpur and Raipur (Chhattisgarh). Similarly, the Ladganj police arrested two notorious suspects and recovered 12 vehicles, while the Paatan police apprehended one individual and seized seven two-wheelers.

In total, these operations led to the recovery of 34 stolen two-wheelers. In Rajgarh district, the Byawara City police dismantled an inter-district motorcycle theft gang, seizing 15 motorcycles from two suspects. Additionally, the Suthalia police recovered 10 stolen motorcycles and arrested one suspect, bringing the total to 25 vehicles recovered in these actions.

The Ratlam district police also made significant progress, recovering nine motorcycles and apprehending a main suspect along with three juvenile offenders. The Station Road police further seized four motorcycles and arrested one suspect, totaling 13 motorcycles recovered. Similar actions were taken in other districts across the state.

In Betul district, the Bhainsdehi police arrested interstate vehicle thieves, recovering 10 motorcycles. The Khargone police seized seven motorcycles, while Gwalior district reported five vehicles recovered. Quick actions in Guna, Shivpuri, Mandsaur, Shajapur, and Katni districts led to the recovery of several more motorcycles and the arrest of additional suspects.

This extensive operation highlights the Madhya Pradesh Police’s commitment to tackling vehicle theft and enhancing public safety.
