Gandhinagar, April 2: A fantastic opportunity has emerged for youth preparing for government jobs. The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has officially announced recruitment for various positions, including Executive Engineer and Deputy Executive Engineer, totaling 103 vacancies.

The 103 positions available for recruitment include 15 Executive Engineer (Civil), Category I (Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply, and Kalpsar Department); 10 Executive Engineer (Civil), Category I (Road and Building Department); 60 Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil), Category II (Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply, and Kalpsar Department); and 18 Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil), Category II (Road and Building Department).

The online application process for these positions began on Wednesday, April 1, and the last date to apply is set for April 15. Eligible and interested candidates are advised to submit their application forms within this timeframe.

Applicants must hold a graduation degree in Engineering (Civil) or Technology (Civil) from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.

The minimum age for candidates is set at 20 years, while the maximum age is capped at 35 years, calculated as of April 15. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Those filling out the application form must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹100 for General/EWS/SEBC candidates. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Divyang/Ex-servicemen/Women candidates are exempt from the application fee.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a preliminary exam, main exam, personal interview, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹53,100 to ₹2,08,700, depending on the position. The GPSC is expected to conduct the preliminary exam on May 10, with the main exam scheduled between July 19 and July 22.
