Madhya Pradesh CM Backs Foreign Ministers Remarks on Pakistan as a Broker

Chhindwara, March 26: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav criticized the Congress party on Thursday, stating that they are misguiding the nation amid recent developments in West Asia and their impact on India.

While addressing a public gathering in Chhindwara district, the Chief Minister remarked, “Prime Minister Modi is maintaining the country’s self-respect while playing his role in his own way; however, Congress is continuously trying to mislead the nation.”

He also supported Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar’s statement regarding Pakistan’s alleged central role in mediating between the United States and Iran. During a recent all-party meeting, Jaishankar reportedly stated that India cannot be a ‘broker’ nation.

After inaugurating a series of development projects worth over ₹500 crore in the tribal-dominated region of Chhindwara, the Chief Minister expressed appreciation for Jaishankar’s comment labeling Pakistan as a ‘broker’ country.

Yadav stated, “Congress leaders are saying that if we had spoken to this person or that person, the situation would have been different. India is playing its role on its own terms. I commend Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar for calling Pakistan a ‘broker’.”

During his visit to Chhindwara and the newly formed district of Pandhurna, Chief Minister Yadav will also inaugurate over 100 completed development projects, costing ₹506.29 crore.

Before addressing the event, he inaugurated key projects including the Madhya Pradesh Housing Development Corporation office, collector’s office, district hospital, and the Superintendent of Police (SP) office in the newly formed district of Pandhurna, all built at a cost of ₹69.49 crore.
