Mumbai, July 22: The reality show ‘Lock Up Season 2’ continues to showcase evolving relationships among contestants, drawing significant viewer attention. Recently, actors Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi confronted Shilpa Shinde after she referred to them as ‘lovebirds.’ This comment sparked a heated exchange between the trio.
The conflict began over a gym mat. Harshad was searching for a mat, stating he couldn’t find one outside. Shilpa responded that she was sleeping on that very mat and would not share it. Harshad expressed his frustration, insisting that Shilpa could manage without a mat.
During this exchange, Shilpa made the remark about Harshad and Shivangi being ‘lovebirds,’ which escalated the tension in the room. Shivangi quickly objected, questioning why Shilpa kept calling them that. She emphasized that their relationship is purely platonic and urged Shilpa to be mindful of her words.
Supporting Shivangi, Harshad stated, “I am just her friend.” He then directed criticism at Shilpa, suggesting she has never experienced true friendship and that at her age, she should not be spreading such rumors.
Shivangi retaliated, accusing Shilpa of not having any friends in her life and questioning if her comments stemmed from jealousy. Throughout the confrontation, Shilpa repeatedly used the term ‘lovebirds,’ further aggravating Harshad. He expressed his irritation, stating, “Shilpa keeps repeating that word all the time.” Shivangi added that Shilpa’s perspective is clouded, viewing every relationship through a negative lens.
The incident caught the attention of wildcard contestant Apoorva Makhija, who humorously noted that viewers were once again witnessing Harshad’s ‘Kabir Singh’ persona.
