Leaders Pay Tribute to Sant Kabir Das on His Birth Anniversary, Highlighting His Role as a Social Reformer

New Delhi, June 28: On the occasion of Sant Kabir Das’s birth anniversary, numerous political and social leaders across the country paid tribute to him, calling his thoughts a source of inspiration for society.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta took to the social media platform X to honor Sant Kabir Das. She wrote, “On the birth anniversary of Sant Kabir Das, a pioneer of truth, humanity, and social reform, I bow to him. Kabir’s immortal words inspire society to stay away from superstition and hypocrisy, guiding us on the path of truth, love, equality, and human values. His ideas will continue to strengthen harmony, unity, and moral values in society.”

Meanwhile, MLA Ravinder Singh Negi from Patparganj also paid his respects, stating, “Heartfelt congratulations to all the residents of the state on the auspicious occasion of the great poet and social reformer Sant Kabir Das’s birth anniversary.”

Chhattisgarh government minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal also honored Kabir Das, emphasizing that his thoughts inspire us to walk the path of truth, love, equality, and humanity. He highlighted the relevance of Kabir’s messages in society today.

BJP leader Narottam Mishra referenced Kabir Das’s famous couplet, “Speak such words that calm the mind. Let others be at peace, and you too shall find peace.” He remembered him as a relentless seeker of truth and a staunch opponent of social evils.

He posted on X, “On the birth anniversary of Sant Kabir Das, a relentless seeker of truth and a fierce opponent of social evils, I bow to him. Kabir’s words are not just a collection of phrases but a timeless guide to living life. His couplets inspire us to rise above superstition, hypocrisy, caste discrimination, and narrow-mindedness, guiding us toward truth, love, compassion, equality, and human values. BJP leader B.L. Verma also paid his respects on the occasion, stating on X, “On the birth anniversary of Sant Kabir Das, a pioneer of truth, humanity, and social reform, I bow to him. His immortal words inspire society to walk the path of truth, love, equality, and human values, free from superstition and hypocrisy.”
