New Delhi, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : On September 10, leaders across India commemorated the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Govind Ballabh Pant, a prominent freedom fighter, former Home Minister, and the first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was among those who paid tribute, expressing his respect on the social media platform X. He highlighted Pant’s visionary leadership and dedication to social welfare, which he described as an invaluable legacy of Indian democracy.
Haryana’s Chief Minister, Nayab Saini, also took to X to honor Pant, recognizing him as a great leader of the Indian independence movement. Saini praised Pant’s efforts in promoting the Hindi language and citizen welfare, noting that he would always be remembered as a great patriot, skilled administrator, and eloquent speaker.
Rajasthan’s Chief Minister, Bhajanlal Sharma, shared a post on social media, revering Pant as a distinguished lawyer and a key figure in India’s freedom struggle. Sharma emphasized Pant’s remarkable contributions to the nation and his visionary policies that helped establish a strong administrative framework in independent India.
Pankaj Chaudhary, the President of the Uttar Pradesh BJP, also paid homage on X, calling Pant’s life a testament to sacrifice, duty, and patriotism. He stated that Pant’s ideals would continue to guide future generations.
