Recently, he visited the Kedarnath Temple to pay homage to Lord Shiva, and now he has reached Badrinath Temple to seek blessings from Lord Vishnu. Photos and videos from his trip are rapidly going viral on social media.
Kher shared several pictures from his Badrinath visit on Instagram. In these images, he appears smiling, adorned with a Rudraksha mala around his neck and a sandalwood tilak on his forehead. Both of these elements are associated with devotion to Lord Shiva. The backdrop features snow-capped mountains, creating a stunning view of the serene landscape.
In his post, Kailash Kher included a mountain emoji in the caption. Fans have responded enthusiastically, with many describing the post as soothing.
Previously, Kher visited Kedarnath, where he performed his famous devotional song “Bam Lahiri” in front of the temple. He also shared a video from that visit, captioning it, “Mahadev’s abode, all tasks fulfilled. Jai Jai Kedarnath.”
The Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. In contrast, Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Both temples, located in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand, are regarded as highly sacred in Hinduism, attracting millions of devotees each year.
Recently, Kailash Kher has also been in the news for his new song “Jogi,” dedicated to Adi Shankaracharya. He mentioned that the spiritual essence felt by saints and sages for centuries is encapsulated in this music.
