Mumbai, July 22: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has clarified that his recent blog post was misinterpreted by the public. He emphasized that his writing was not related to any personal situation but was an attempt to convey a thought using the example of football legend Lionel Messi following Argentina’s defeat.
In his blog, Bachchan stated, “I am perfectly fine. People have misunderstood my post.”
He elaborated, “I was merely providing an example to explain my point. Just as the real challenge begins after a major surgery or coming out of the ICU, when a champion loses, the toughest time is not the defeat itself but the struggle to regain composure and accept that loss.”
The iconic actor explained that he used Argentina’s loss and Messi’s experience to illustrate this concept, but many interpreted it as a reflection of his own situation or personal defeat.
Earlier on Tuesday, Bachchan had mentioned in his blog about being hospitalized, undergoing surgery, spending time in the ICU, and the physical and mental challenges that arise upon returning home. On the social media platform X, he wrote, “The game is over! But the work continues.”
Following these posts, concerns about his health grew among his fans on social media. In response, Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog to clarify that his message had been misconstrued.
