
New Delhi, June 7: Every month, the Krishna Paksha Ashtami is known as Kalashtami or Monthly Krishna Ashtami. This year, the Ashtami Tithi falls on Monday, June 8, during the month of Jyeshtha. This date is dedicated to Lord Bhairav and Lord Krishna. Devotees of both deities worship and offer prayers on all Ashtami Tithis throughout the year.
The Ashtami Tithi on June 8 will last throughout the day and extend until 3:23 AM on June 9. According to the Panchang, both Abhijit Muhurat and Vijay Muhurat will be available on this day, making it highly favorable for auspicious activities. Sunrise will occur at 5:23 AM, and sunset will be at 7:18 PM. The Nakshatra will be Shatabhisha, and the Yoga will be Vishkambha.
The combination of Abhijit Muhurat and Vijay Muhurat is ideal for starting new ventures, traveling, and making significant decisions. Caution should be exercised during Rahukal. Those observing fasts should take their vows after sunrise. Evening prayers during the twilight period will be fruitful.
