
Srinagar, June 5: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah urged citizens to unite for environmental protection. They emphasized that leaving a safe, clean, and healthy Earth for future generations is a collective responsibility.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha stated that protecting the environment and maintaining the balance of nature is crucial for humanity’s well-being. He expressed on the social media platform ‘X’ that on this World Environment Day, we must reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding Mother Earth and preserving the delicate balance of nature. Collective efforts in environmental protection can ensure a better and healthier planet for future generations.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah reiterated his government’s commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development. A message from the Chief Minister’s office on ‘X’ highlighted that the Jammu and Kashmir government is serious about environmental conservation and is continuously working in this direction. The Chief Minister called on the state’s citizens to participate in this collective campaign and strengthen efforts to protect the environment.
