Mumbai, June 16: Actor Jameel Khan is currently in the spotlight for his role in the fifth season of the web series “Gullak.” His performance has received widespread acclaim from audiences. During promotional activities for the show, he shared his thoughts on the relationships between artists and the entire crew on set.
Speaking about the importance of comfort and confidence in front of the camera, Khan stated, “It is crucial for artists to feel at ease and self-assured, as the camera captures every detail. If an artist feels even slightly uncomfortable, it reflects on their face, expressions, and acting. This is why the entire team on set strives to ensure that artists face no difficulties. Whether it’s attending to their comfort, providing necessary items on time, or creating an environment where they can focus entirely on their characters, everyone plays their part.”
He added, “An artist’s voice, energy, and mental balance are also vital for acting. Therefore, the crew ensures that unnecessary pressure is not placed on the artists. This is not done to please any individual but to help them portray their characters more effectively.”
Khan remarked, “Sometimes, some artists misunderstand this. They think the entire team serves them because they are big stars. This mindset can gradually lead to arrogance and difficult behavior. When an artist displays pride towards their colleagues or makes unreasonable demands, it is entirely wrong.”
He emphasized, “Artists should understand that the facilities and respect they receive are meant to enhance their work. It is a collective effort of the entire team to ensure their performance looks impressive on screen. If artists grasp this, they will never display difficult behavior on set or mistreat others. Humility is just as essential as success.”
