Mumbai, June 25: On the occasion of the birth anniversaries of renowned music composer Madan Mohan and actor Satish Shah, actor Jackie Shroff paid heartfelt tributes to both icons. He shared posts on social media to commemorate their contributions.

Jackie Shroff made two posts on his Instagram story. The first post honored the legendary composer Madan Mohan. He shared a black-and-white photograph of Madan Mohan, accompanied by the background music of the song “Hum Pyar Mein Jalne Walon Ko.” In the caption, he wrote, “Remembering Madan Mohan Ji on his birth anniversary.”

In the second post, Jackie Shroff remembered actor Satish Shah by sharing another black-and-white photo, with the sweet melody of the flute from the track “Moksh” playing in the background. He captioned this post, “Remembering Satish Shah Ji on his birth anniversary.”

Madan Mohan is regarded as one of the few composers in Indian cinema whose songs remain popular to this day. Born on June 25, 1924, in Baghdad, he gifted Hindi cinema with numerous evergreen hits. Songs like “Lag Ja Gale,” “Naina Barse Rimjhim Rimjhim,” “Aap Ki Nazron Ne Samjha,” and “Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho” continue to be favorites among audiences.

As for Satish Shah, he carved a unique identity in both films and television through his acting. Born on June 25, 1951, he has played many memorable roles throughout his extensive career. His performances in films such as “Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro,” “Hum Aapke Hain Koun,” “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” “Kal Ho Naa Ho,” and “Main Hoon Na” have been widely appreciated.

Satish Shah is particularly remembered for his role as Indravadan Sarabhai in the popular television series “Sarabhai vs Sarabhai,” which was well-received by audiences.
