ISRO-HSF Recruitment: Multiple Scientist-Engineer Positions Open, Application Process Starts August 10

Bengaluru, August 8: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), through its Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) in Bengaluru, has announced direct recruitment for various Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ positions based on different subjects.

The vacancies include one position each in Bio-Instrumentation/Biophysics/Medical Physics, Developmental Biology/Biotechnology, Cellular and Molecular Biology/Cell Biology, Computational Biology/Systems Biology/Bioinformatics, and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Sciences.

The online application process will commence at 10 AM on August 10 and will close on August 30. Interested candidates can complete their registration on the official ISRO-HSF website until 5 PM on the final date.

Applicants must hold a first-class degree in relevant subjects from a recognized institution or university, including BE/BTech/BSc/BS, ME/MTech/MS/MSc, and PhD. The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 35 years, calculated as of August 30. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government norms.

Selection will be based on application screening, shortlisting, and personal interviews. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹67,700 to ₹2,08,700 under the Level-11 pay matrix, along with additional benefits and allowances.
