
Indore, August 25: In Madhya Pradesh, public hearings are held every Tuesday to address citizens’ issues. During the recent public hearing organized by the Indore Police, a significant number of complaints were related to family disputes and fraud cases.
Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh conducted the hearing at the Commissioner’s office auditorium, where he listened to the grievances of the public and directed relevant officials to take immediate action for resolution. On Tuesday, a total of 84 applications were received, primarily concerning family disputes involving son-in-law and daughter-in-law, marital issues, neighbor disagreements, non-payment for goods, financial fraud, and complaints regarding unpaid salaries from employers.
Each applicant’s concerns were heard by the Police Commissioner, who provided necessary guidelines to ensure prompt and effective action, both in person and via phone. The public was reassured that the Indore Police are committed to their safety, justice, and protection of rights.
During the hearing, the presence of Additional Police Commissioner Mayank Awasthi and senior officials from all zones allowed for a detailed discussion of the applicants’ issues, with immediate action initiated on-site. Additionally, the police are continuously working through mediation centers to counsel and resolve family disputes, aiming for peaceful and swift resolutions.
