Captain Harmanpreet Kaur partnered with Smriti Mandhana to build a crucial third-wicket partnership, scoring 91 runs off 63 balls and pushing the team past the century mark. Mandhana returned to the pavilion after scoring 68 runs off 44 balls, including 2 sixes and 9 fours. Shortly after, India lost Bharti Fulmali for 1 and Kaur for 36.

Deepti Sharma then joined Richa Ghosh, and together they added 45 runs for the sixth wicket in just 21 balls. India scored 23 runs in the 19th over and added 15 runs in the final over. Ghosh finished with 34 runs off 17 balls, hitting 1 six and 5 fours. From the opposition, Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana each took 2 wickets, while Tasmiya Rubab and Rameen Shameem claimed 1 wicket each.
